Mountain tea or the Greek mountain tea has several names. It is known as iron-wort, and at times called the shepherd tea. It is a flowering plant, and it has been used to help with various medical ailments because of anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. It is mostly found abundantly in the Mediterranean regions, the Balkans, the Iberian Peninsula and Micronesia.
